Query-Based Access to Patient Data from Your EHR
Electronic health records (EHRs) can provide tremendous value to physicians and healthcare organizations, especially when they contain comprehensive patient information that extends across the patient care continuum.
GeorgiaConnX offers a robust patient search functionality where providers make queries from within their EHR to quickly access patient health data from hospitals, physician practices, state health systems and more.
Georgia Health Information Network (GaHIN) offers GeorgiaConnX to authorized, credentialed providers at no charge, facilitating the secure exchange of patient information.

Meeting QPP/MIPS Requirements
The Georgia Health Information Network (GaHIN) provides the capabilities to allow a clinician to enable secure, bi-directional exchange to occur for all of an eligible clinician’s patient records. GaHIN is capable of exchanging information across a broad network of unaffiliated exchange partners including those using disparate EHRs, and does not engage in exclusionary behavior when determining exchange partners. GaHIN’s connections encompass state agencies, state regional health information exchanges, health systems, care management organizations, large clinics, the Veterans Administration and eHealth Exchange (eHX), including many of the downstream connections of those organizations. GaHIN engages in a high volume of transactions with other participants nationwide.
